What an amazing "trip of a lifetime" to Egypt for 16 days. Dandelion Journals is the best way to experience the world and receive top notch accommodations and services. I enjoyed all of the new friendships that were developed throughout the trip. Only thing I would change is to travel to Egypt in October/November rather than September. The heat was a little too much. Thank you Heba for everything and for introducing us to your homeland. Also, thank you Rafik for all of your knowledge and expertise. What a fantastic trip! A wonderful combination of seeing and learning about Egypt’s ancient sites and artifacts, while experiencing the contemporary Egyptian culture; so different from our own. Having a professional Egyptologist accompanying us really elevated the educational aspect, and having Heba as our host made the trip very special. All the hotels were lovely, and the food was delicious and abundant! Lots of shopping opportunities for those who like that, as well as pool time and spa treatments for those seeking more relaxation.

This was an amazing trip. Our guide Heba's Egyptian upraising and continuing familial ties to Egypt allowed her to really share the people, food, and culture of Egypt with us. The trip was beautifully curated allowing us to experience many different facets of current every day life and also the opportunity to see many examples of the ancient civilization that was present here 1,000s of years ago. Rafik, the Egyptologist who helped to guide us on the trip was a wonderful source of historical information to really bring our experiences to life. I would definitely recommend this trip!
