Today we depart Paris, France on our way to London, United Kingdom in style in our upgraded Eurostar Train seats on a 2.5 hour journey that goes directly from city center to city center passing through the Channel Tunnel "Chunnel" located under the English Channel.
In London, we will be staying at the upscale Hilton London Bankside, walking distance to the Tate Modern, London Bridge, the Shard and Borough Market, one of London's most popular and oldest food markets. After we settle in, get ready for an exhilarating and scenic walk to some of London's most historical and architecturally beautiful pubs where (on your own) you might choose to try a pint or two! Afterwards, we will enjoy a "Welcome to London" Group Dinner as we say "Cheers" to our immersion into the British culture ahead.
Today promises excitement with our Guided Private Walking Tour of the Best of London that includes Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, the Women of World War II Memorial, and the Tower Bridge.
